OKAY so, this past week and a half I was in South Dakota visiting family for the holidays! I spent the week sandwiching bits of cosplay progress in between spending quality time with my parents, sister, stepbrother, and other assorted family members. DON'T STOP BELIEVIN' -- wait, wrong JourneyThe day after I landed, Cameko Cosplay and I went to shoot my Journey cosplay in the Badlands! This was honestly a dream come true, and I still can't quite believe that it happened. Photos are slowly trickling in, and I will choose two to be next month's downloads for the $10 tier! Meanwhile, back at the ranch (by which I mean my family's house), much of the limited time I spent outside of my family went to painting. Each vertical piece takes about 2 hours to paint and 2-3 hours to dry, so it's a bit of a process. It's time to P-P-P-PAINT~An official tutorial is coming soon, but essentially, here's a quick preview about how you get this finish:
It's the FINAL COUNTDOWN
It turns out snow is pretty cold
The day after my shoot, I flew home! I got some sleep on the plane to catch up from the all-nighter, but now it's time for a CRAFT WEEKEND with Queen Ally Cosplay! The next weekly update will focus on the lead-up to MAGFest and probably lots of cosplay crunch! D:
