Final time lapse in the Disney Princess Scientist series! This particular edit was especially difficult. I wanted the image composition to be the same as the other two in the series (namely, full body portrait in an appropriate environment). Unfortunately, the only photos I took were from the knees upwards! The final Snow White layer is comprised of four different images: her main body, a separate left hand & right hand, and a stock photo for her legs. Of course, that was *before* editing in the background and all the animals! Video info:

Second in the series! This particular edit is very close to my heart, because (a) I have a Master's in astrophysics, and (b), it's me in the photo! Disclaimer: The first half of the video still has that weird cropping issue, because I recorded it before finishing Ariel's edit. However, it was fixed in the last half of the video! The Snow White time lapse won't have any crop issues at all. :D Video info:
Queen Ally Cosplay made a fantastic Oceanographer Ariel as part of our Princess Scientists group last summer! I'm re-editing some of our photos from last summer in a very fantasy-esque style; Ariel is the first to be completed, with Rapunzel and Snow White soon to follow! Disclaimer: I did not realize that OBS was cropping my screen recording. As a result, you can only see about 2/3 of the Photoshop workspace. However, most of the action *was* captured pretty well. The issue has been addressed, and all future timelapses will be properly sized! Video info:
A collection of Ickle Peevsie up-close shots! I'm trying a slightly different format with these photos, including some information about the costume along with the photos (rather than just a gallery). If you'd like more information about the cosplay itself, I highly recommend checking out the main page for my Peeves cosplay! Much of this design was inspired by the interpretation of Peeves in the Harry Potter computer games of old. I omitted a bunch of the patchwork details due to time constraints and because this costume is already pretty ugly to begin with (by design, of course)! I purposefully made this costume somewhat androgynous; while I wear a wig, heels, and corset, I do my makeup in a decidedly un-feminine manner. I enjoy confusing people like that. This set was shot by Man of the Fields Photography, and edited by me!
At Garden State Comic Fest last weekend, Queen Ally Cosplay and I took a little time away from the action to get some up close shots of one of my favorite cosplays, Hannah Alexander's Art Nouveau Meg! |
